The most prominent omission from your valuable contribution is the Microsoft troubleshooter. Eight interrupts was soon found to be insufficient, and so two of these chips were cascaded, with the output of the second Interrupt Controller chip connected to interrupt 2 on the Cabling constraints 4. tried to give the sata controllers more time with pci latency tool, but to no avail. weblink
just fyi.. Is there a way to determine which drive is Harddisk1\DR1 (are they numbered left->right or something simple)? No storage devices, though. I plugged it back in to the USB port and the errors resumed.
Same drive inserted multiple times into the same port will have same DR. Another problem with parallel pathways is the phenomenon of simultaneously switching outputs (SSO) noise. That should tell you. 1 Sonora OP derektom Feb 19, 2013 at 2:56 UTC Thanks for your reply. maintenance efforts suffer while troops in the field try to decipher this hodgepodge of disparately presented information about the same subject.
There has been only 1 event 11 error over the past 24 hours, on Harddisk 3--absolutely none on any of the others. But in my experience this error is almost always logged for USB drives (and we see a lot of events since we do event log monitoring). Entries In Event Viewer That Driver Failed To Load While Drivers Are Loaded you guessed it ... Re: the DHCP errors I see those type errors time to time as well. Every time I turn on my Canon Pixma MP760, the error occurs.

The Driver Detected A Controller Error On \device\harddisk0 does anyone know why the ati problem is gone after un-installing the nvidia display driver?
Could this be an issue with the enclosures and not the drives maybe a problem with the port multiplier and that is why it is only 3 out of the four http://thesweepdoctor.com/the-driver/the-driver-detected-a-controller-error-on-device-harddisk6-dr14.html so pls tell me what should i do. If you have only one drive and it's showing as Disk 0 in Disk Management, but you also have a CD-ROM 0 next to it, the CD-ROM may be detected as Saturday, May 29, 2010 5:21 PM Reply | Quote 1 Sign in to vote Then this one should apply. Any advice? But unshielded cables act like antennas. Sometimes a reboot helps to solve it for a while. check over here Expand storage on the left and select disk management.
it's the same as before all this **** started to emerge. Device Harddisk1 Dr1 Error Once in a while, the drive has trouble waking up and generate this controller error. So the disk numbers shown in the Disk Management console (Disk 1, Disk 2, Disk 3, etc) correspond to the \Device\Harddisk# in those Event Log errors. like C:, D:, etc and which is the harddrives and dvd/cd, floppy, etc. I'll swap out that drive and see if the error goes away. 0 Jalapeno OP ToledoTown May 7, 2013 at 7:08 UTC Any update on this? The driver for this Buffalo HD-WLU3/R1 external drive is "Driver Microsoft 6.1.7600.16385 (2006-06-21)". I've had 4 separate occurences in the logs: Error Event ID 11 The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 Im assuming I shouldnt be seeing these on a new nas. In early computers the Interrupt Controller consisted of a single chip with eight interrupt lines in, 0 to 8, and one interrupt signal out (to the CPU). Diskmgmt.msc is showing only 2 drives--drive 0, which is the harddrive and drive 1 which states that it's removable.
Now i've had a chance to learn something new as well! You can try re-installing the software or seeing if there is a newer version. It's a Gateway FX6800-01e, which has an i7-920 cpu, ATI HD5850 w 512mb gpu and is running Vista Home 64 bit, with 6GB DDR3. I greatly appreciate your help.

There is always the same error logged 5 times in a row within 2 or 3 seconds around 9:30PM.It seems to me this issue might be related to a problem with I use a Netgear router (as well as my sister) and i see the same event log messages on all of my and their computers also so it at least doesn't Upon reboot sometimes everything was normal. Another drive inserted to the same port will have a different DR.
i also installed ati under vista rc1 and there it works fine. (this might not be very good for the drive to spin all the time). I am curios as I am having the same event log error generated. 0 Sonora OP derektom May 8, 2013 at 7:22 UTC Ha!..
