I have set the jumper settings to Cable Select on both drives. i have had this problem for a while now and sorta happens at random times i even tried burning different files with a new disk but while my software [imgburn] says There are tons of writings on this but you never really get anywhere that is understandable to me and most of the folks that have had the same error. Are you capable of using your device manager to un-install the drive and reboot and let OS7 find the drive and re-install it? have a peek at these guys

Exited, removed autostart and rebooted.
